Our estate
Domaine Ollier-Taillefer is a family estate in the north-eastern part of the AOP Faugères appellation in central Languedoc, Southern France. It is run by Luc and Françoise Ollier, brother and sister, the 5th generation of locally-born wine-makers and today responsible for these 36 hectares of AOP Faugères vineyards. In 2020, Florent Ollier, Luc's youngest son, joined the estate and became a partner with his father and aunt. The story continues...
We produce an average of 1100 hectolitres
- 800 hectolitres of red AOP Faugères
- 240 hectolitres of rosé AOP Faugères
- 80 hectolitres of white AOP Faugères
All our wines are bottled on the estate and sold by us.
Our history
In 1977, our parents, Nicole and Alain Ollier, sold the first bottle produced on the estate… At the time, Faugères wines were only VDQS (“vin délimité de qualité supérieure”). AOP (“appellation d’origine protégée”) status was achieved in 1982 (decree of 5 May). Luc joined the estate in 1990, Françoise in 2002, Florent in 2020.
