The grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted before they arrive in the cellars. We are fully aware of the fragility of this schistous ‘terroir’ and have chosen to care for it by working as naturally as possible. This is why we have used “enlightened” growing techniques for many years. Since the 2001 harvest, the 30 hectares of our estate has been certified “TERRA VITIS” (Rhone – Mediterranean charter for enlightened wine-growing). Since the 2004 harvest we have qualified for our VITICULTURE and VINIFICATION activity.

What is Terra Vitis?

The Terra Vitis approach guarantees a high-quality, environmentally-friendly production method. The wines are made from grapes grown on an estate that uses enlightened agricultural techniques and follows the TERRA VITIS approach, with traceable growing practices that are checked by an independent organisation.

Why do this?

Simply so that we can tell you what we’re doing and can prove it through traceability (which additives and active substances we have used, etc…) : all of which leads to greater care for the ‘terroir’ and for the environment.
